BaSys on BAU 2017 exhibition

For the eighth time, Basys – Bartels Systembeschläge presented itself with its own stand at the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems BAU in Munich from 16 to 21 January 2017.

 

At the well-placed stand in the middle of Hall B4, which was dedicated to the topics of locks, fittings, security and doors and windows, the five-man Basys team welcomed trade visitors, representatives of door and frame manufacturers as well as dealers and fabricators. Most of them came from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, followed by Italy, China, Turkey, the USA and Poland. In total, Basys registered 11.9 percent more visitors than at BAU 2015.

 

Basys presented five innovations at BAU 2017 as one of 2,120 exhibitors from 45 countries: In the area of concealed door hinges, one with a concealed self-closing mechanism, a heavy-duty hinge for door weights of up to 300 kilograms and claddings of up to 8 mm and a concealed hinge for glass doors. In addition, the manufacturer showed an object hinge for heavy-duty applications with a load capacity of up to 350 kg and an adjustable angle striking plate for rebated doors.

 

The company experienced the highlight on the first evening of the trade fair when it received the Architecture + Construction Innovation Award for the “Pivota DX Close”.
